The Colony is an Awesome Place
For being such a small area of land, The Colony has produced 16 parks and 9 athletic fields. The city has several non-traditional parks such as the infrared combat zone and a skate park. The infrared combat zone is an outdoor 30 acre area with five different fields where people can play laser tag with friends, family, or other organizations. The Colony also boasts several different options in the use of their aquatic center. Here one can swim in a traditional pool, play in a water park, or if you are feeling more adventurous you can sign up for their kayak polo or kayaking classes. All of these options are provided by the Parks and Recreation Department.
